WindWater Hotel & Marina

The staff here has been best hotel staff I've seen in all my years of travel! I was staying here with a team of coworkers for a work trip, and with all the inevitable problems that arose with out large group, Ruvina & Pablo knocked em all out of the park! They handled everything very professionally; I will be coming back here for my next trip!

10/10 both 2 people at front desk were so nice and helpful! stayed for a week and a day and i didn't have any issues. the regular rooms were pretty clean no problems at all, upgraded too a suite that was only $30 and had a pretty outside view of the bay! 10/10 recommend staying here. Also very pet friendly i had a xl pitbull and they had no problem with him staying there. pool was very clean and so was the hot tub that was the only thing that wasn't working but with this heat it wasn't a problem at all. lovedd staying here will forsure be back soon! i recommend if you ask me!

I recently stayed at the Wind and Water Hotel and Marina in South Padre Island for eight days and had a very enjoyable experience, primarily thanks to the outstanding hospitality. The day shift manager, in particular, made me feel like the number one customer every single day of my stay. She went above and beyond, answering all my questions about the local area with enthusiasm and knowledge, and I noticed she treated every guest with the same warmth and care. Her friendliness and helpfulness are definitely the highlight of the hotel and the reason I would consider staying here again. However, I feel the hotel itself could use some renovations. The facilities are in need of an update, which would bring the overall experience to the five-star level. Despite this, the staff's exceptional service, especially from the day manager, truly made my extended stay enjoyable and memorable. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be well taken care of, I recommend this hotel, hoping they invest in a few upgrades soon.

the front desk girl that works the evenings is great. had a problem with one of the rooms and she was very helpful accomidating my family and i into another room. she continued to follow up with us to make sure our stay was good. great location.

Was able to park my bike right in front of my room. Ended up staying longer that i thought. Got a great rate online. Great place to stay! Would love to go back. I will be back to watch the next Starship take off. Thank you Whitewater!

I have stayed here three times and for longer durations each time. It's a great value and was conveniently located to the places I wanted to visit. Ravina at the front desk was always nice and accommodating to all of my needs!

Windwater is one of my go-to properties when I come to the islands for the simple reason that it's on the water on the Bay side. They have a king suite that's right on the water and includes access to barbecue grills and you can fish pretty much right off of your balcony. The staff is always willing to hop up and help you with anything you need and they're very knowledgeable about the area. Although you can use a booking agent to select your room they offer cash discounts and prefer customers ask them for a deal, you won't be disappointed in addition to the king suites with the baby they have the standard double queen or King rooms which are oversized quite spacious and recently remodeled. Microwave and a refrigerator too so you can stock up on your snacks and heat up some food they had leftover from one of the many restaurants that's walking distance. It's a great value for the location for the rooms and just for the experience there's also a pool and a jacuzzi in the center of the property and there are elevators so you don't have to lug your luggage up the damn stairs. I highly recommend you give them a try on your next visit.

For a last minute place at 2 AM it was good. Quiet, next to the water. Good location just a bed.
